UNTITLED MENTAL EPISODE's visuals were created using cutouts of pencil drawings on plain white paper. These cutouts were then shot on top of a green sheet of construction paper in order to apply a green screen effect to the animations. Various color corrections and compositing overlays were added to the backgrounds so that they could properly establish the mood and setting for each shot and scene.
